As well as our permanent staff, we have a number of volunteers on our team. You may see them at our exercise programmes wearing blue t-shirts. Many of our volunteers have previously had cardiac events and completed the Cardiac Rehabilitation programme themselves. This means they have lived experience and are very happy to support you and answer any questions you may have.
Volunteers go through mandatory training with support of Lincolnshire Community Healthcare Trust and have regular training updates.
Some of the team have done in excess of 200 hours volunteering for Cardiac Rehab which is an amazing achievement!
Volunteers also have the opportunity to celebrate their successes through LCHS organised coffee mornings and volunteer awards ceremonies.
